Why is Jamboo so super?

This new and innovative exterior door frame has a unique property. It is made Extreme Engineering from Chinese cedar joined (finger-jointed) to bamboo, at its base.

This all-natural new product is nearly impervious to water infiltration, bug infestation and common rot. Not only is bamboo a superior building block for this new product, it is sustainable, recyclable and free of chemicals.

As with all our products, our finger-joint exterior frames are second to none. Boiled, kiln-dried and polyurethane- sealed – they're finished to perfection.

Why they're second to none: Our frames are Jamboo primed, painted and on all sides so they're easily paintable and require no additional sanding or priming.

The frames can be delivered blank or fully pre-fitted and machined for strike, hinges and sill dado.

Unlike other materials, used for jambs and frames, the blockboard wood substrate and the poly-vinyl-carbon coating used in CTI products are insect and rot resistant due to their high-polymer content and density. This product is also available as a flat jamb.

All SuperFrames go through an intense inspection process before they are palletized and shipped. Because of the wear and tear exterior products go through, CTI makes sure SuperFrames are a worry free product for our customers. Extensive product testing allows us to offer a lifetime warranty on the Jamboo product.
