Rich Brooks serves as Executive Vice President and CFO at CTI.
He is Big 4 CPA and Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) with 35 years of financial and operational experience with private as well as publicly-held companies.
During his career, Rich directed the turnaround of several troubled companies, raised over $250 million in equity, and led the negotiation and implementation of over 40 merger and acquisition transactions.
Prior to CTI, Rich was a partner at Tatum, LLC, a national financial and IT consulting firm from September 2005 until December 2010. His clients included software, biotech, exotic metal tooling, retail, food processing, semi-conductor, and internet advertising companies.
From April 2002 to December 2004, Rich served as CEO of VantageMed Corporation, a publicly-traded software company. At VantageMed, he led the development of a highly, successful turnaround plan that increased stock price up to eight-fold in less than two years.
Prior to VantageMed, Rich was co-founder of NetStream. As CFO, he raised $130 million from UBS Capital and Cisco Capital. Prior to NetStream, Rich was SVP and CFO of Physicians Clinical Laboratory (PCL), a publicly-traded healthcare services company, where he was recruited to lead their turnaround efforts.
Rich began his career as a CPA with Deloitte and Touche. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Daegis (formerly known as Unify Corporation), a public software company.
He earned his B.S. in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Finance from Oregon State University.
